For years, our beautiful home, built in 1905, fell deeper into disrepair as we deferred maintenance to raise our family and take care of other necessities. The time arrived when we could no longer ignore the decaying supports of our front porch and the desperately worn siding on our upper story, so we hired Ciaran Mackey of CMAC Contruction to provide the much-needed repairs. What an excellent decision that was. Ciaran and his crew of workers were knowledgeable, efficient, hardworking, and reliable as they addressed the many issues that came up during the repairs. When the pandemic struck, the work stopped for a while, and Ciaran kept us abreast of the steps ahead as he followed the quarantine orders and the CDC criteria for keeping his workers and us safe. When able to start again, we could rest assured that the work was being done safely and expertly. Ciaran made daily check-in visits as the crew progressed with efficiency and skill, and we were able to relax, knowing that everything was being completed with great care. The workers showed up each day before their start time, worked full and long days, and cleaned up their stations before leaving. My husband, who is well known for being a meticulous workman himself, was pleasantly relieved by the high quality of the work. Our house is now restored to its former beauty and strength, and our neighbors often comment on what a fabulous job CMAC Construction did. In fact, several of them have taken Ciaran's card to request help with some of their household repairs. We are very grateful to Ciaran for the excellent workmanship and integrity shown throughout our restoration project, and we highly recommend CMAC Construction to anyone in need of a qualified and competent contractor.
I had the pleasure of working with Ciaran Mackey on a bath remodel in our condominium in 2019. Our bathroom is beautiful, and we are very happy with the quality of Ciaran’s work. Ciaran is capable, honest and takes pride in doing the job correctly. There were especially challenging circumstances with our remodel because our tenant was displaced and anxious to move back in, and we were out of the country for a few weeks. So, Ciaran was under pressure to get the job done, and he had to make decisions on our behalf along the way. Ciaran has a vast knowledge and years of experience in the building trades. He has recently put that to his advantage by obtaining his contractor’s license and starting a company of his own. He is diligent and conscientious about maintaining high standards in his work and making sure his customers get the best service at a fair price. He did a couple of small repair jobs around my house at a very reasonable price. I’m planning on having him do some larger jobs and am glad to have someone I can trust. P.S. His temperament is very upbeat and positive. Fun to be around.
